We have a BIG announcement. But first we want to share something with you…because honestly, this one means a lot.

When we first started building the Cold Water Facilitator course, it was never just about teaching people how to facilitate others in cold water. It was about doing this work properly. Because we’ve seen what happens when it’s not.

People running sessions without training. Without understanding risk. Without holding the responsibility that comes with it. And we knew we didn’t want to be part of that.

We wanted to create something that people could trust. Something that didn’t just inspire… but actually protected people. So for the past few months, we’ve been working quietly behind the scenes to make that happen.

And now we are humbled and grateful to announce 📢

The Kay Lou Academy Cold Water Facilitator Course is officially endorsed by the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA), with 1 CPD point awarded.

The STA is one of the UK’s leading aquatic education bodies. Director of Education Kayle, reviewed the course, the content, the delivery, the training resources and safety framework. And they have approved The Cold Water Facilitator Course as meeting their professional standards.
